Chongqing Banan Foreign Trade Import and Export Co.Ltd (BNFTC), a specialized company mainly engaged in import and export trade business, is among the Top 30 enterprises of its type in Chongqing.

In March 2001, the company invested RMB 30 million to establish an enterpreise named Chongqing Kinglong Fine Strontium Chemical Co., Ltd in Tongliang, a county of Chongqing. In April 2003, it joined with CHEMCHINA , one of China’s Top 500, to establish Chongqing Zhonghao Jilong Strontium Co., Ltd. In Oct 2004, Chongqing Kinglong Fine Strontium Chemical Co., Ltd, cooperated with Mitsubishi Corporation and Sakai Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., to establish a joint-venture to cover the R&D and production of electronic grade strontium carbonate. As the first enterprise in China capable of producing such products, the joint venture is playing a leading role in this sector in terms of production and quality. Among companies dealing in strontium products in China, BNFTC is top-ranked both for its export volume and foreign exchange earnings.
BNFTC has for years maintained a total export volume of over US$ 30 million. It has been recognized as one of the “Top 30 Export-oriented Enterprises in Chongqing” three years in a row and was named the “Advanced Import and Export Enterprise in Chongqing ” several times.
BNFTC has established offices domestically in Shanghai and overseas in Canada and Ethiopia. There are three enterprises with stock shares partly held or controlled by BNFTC. They are: Chongqing Yuhui Biochemical Products Co., Ltd., Chongqing Kinglong Fine Strontium Chemical Co., Ltd and Chongqing Zhonghao Jilong Strontium Co., Ltd.
